Hello my friends!
This past summer I was praying for direction of what the Lord would like me to do for this comming winter. I had a few interviews and in October I was officially placed in South Korea for 4 weeks from December 31st to around January 23rd. I will be traveling to Seoul, South Korea by myself and will be working at an English camp at the Lutheran University there. I will build relationships and lead Bible Studies with the University Students at night. Durring the day I will be teaching conversational English at the camp, we will do music, Bible lessons, and other lesons that will be planned out.
English as a foreign language (EFL) is growing fast in Asia and more people are using this as a tool to share the gospel.
Most of you know that for the past 3 years I have been leading a ministry with international students on my campus.I have gained experience and growth in my faith durring these years. Sharing the gospel with these students who have not yet heard or believe has given me a passion for culture and people. My CHAT partner for the past few years is from Seoul, South Korea. I never thought I would go to Korea, but God has plans that we would never think of!
I ask that you would pray for me and my prepartions as I am still raising funds and as the Lord prepares my heart. Also please pray for the kids that I will be sharing the gospel too.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Hi Rebekah. I will probably follow you religously and creepily. This will only be because I will miss you so much when you are gone. In that case, I love you and please keep this updated on your adventures when they begin. Or I will be sad.
